Culture Shock is ending their mixtape challenge with the release of their third music video for the song “Gaddi Remix.” The trio was in Dubai on a budget and time crunch and the videos were the challenge.
“Gaddi Remix” takes us to Club Sensation at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dubai on the night of September 15, 2011. The trio was booked to perform and they took their cameras to catch the footage. While club footage is less than creative, the trio, the excitement, we saw it all from them before.
Culture Shock’s debut music video for the track “Bombay Bo.” This video took our trio to the stage performing for a crazy audience. The difference between the two videos comes in the form of venue lighting. “Bombay Bo” is a concert setting while “Gaddi Remix” is a night club. Also “Bombay Bo” has the subplot of the girls getting to the space where Culture Shock was performing adding content to the video.
Essentially “Gaddi Remix” feels like a cheaper version of “Bombay Bo” or a behind the scenes video. Regardless, I am loving this song.
