The news was confirmed by Brad Pitt’s spokeswoman Cynthia Pett-Dante; she said, “Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time.” The couple have three children together, three adopted and three there own.
The couple first linked up in 2005 and Angelina is allegedly the reason why Brad divorced his then-wife Jennifer Aniston. The couple did not confirm their relationship till 2006 when Angelina revealed she was pregnant with Brad’s baby.
Brad has been quoted saying that he would not wed Angelina till gay marriage is legalized in the nation. It seems like the six kids got the better of their parents pushing them to take the next step.
In a past interview, Brad stated, “It (marriage) seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it ’til everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment … But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to it is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”
Angelina has already been spotted wearing a large diamond ring. Robert Procop worked with Brad to build the ring. Procop’s official comment about the ring was, “The full creative journey – from conception to completion – took a year, with Brad Pitt waiting until the perfect moment to unveil this special jewel to Angelina Jolie.”
Rumor has it that the couple is planning a ceremony in France in February.
