Hoping to top charts and earn a pretty penny on sales, Jennifer Lopez teams up with Pitbull to release “Dance Again.” This duo left a lasting impression on the music scene with “On The Floor,” does the new track compare?
Well let’s start by saying all the new buzz is not about the record, rather it is about JLo and her young love interest Casper Smart all over each other. Personally, I think it is distasteful; Jennifer is a successful entertainer who needs no man to validate her and such a public display of affection seems desperate. How you gonna explain this to your two babies? Grow-up Jennifer!
On the other hand, Jennifer carries a poised and proper persona on American Idol as a judge. This full-out sex driven video just seems to be another cry for attention. Sex sells, I get it, but I think Jennifer is selling her talent short.
The song is nothing amazing in terms of production or content, but it’s catchy and once it’s picked up on every radio rotation, we’ll all be singing it.
Let me leave you with this, “Dance Again” is “On The Floor” part II and we know the sequel is never as good as the original.
