Kya Kool Hai Hum was released back in May of 2005. The film was a hit with younger moviegoers and now producer Ekta Kapoor is bringing us the sequel in August.
Kya Kool Hai Hum follows two boys with opposite personalities on their quests for love. Rahul, played by Tusshar, is hardworking while Jai, portrayed by Riteish, is all about the fun. In this adventure, Rahul is a suspect in a serial rape, killer case getting the boys in a lot of sticky situations. Inspector Urmila, played by Isha Koppikar, goes undercover and tries to seduce Rahul to bring out his true identity.
With that story all wrapped up and the boys off the hook with crimes and wrong relationships, Kya Super Kool Hai Hum opens a new bag of worms. This sequel takes our boys on a road trip to Goa and along the way the situations are ridiculous. Again, mistaken identities come into play and the guys can’t seem to get a break. The film’s actresses are Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma.
In the new trailer, media has gone ahead and tagged the film sex comedy. The trailer is a whole mini movie in which this comedy cocks Bollywood’s classic melodramatic films, in particular, Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham. Tusshar is now a struggling actor and Riteish a struggling DJ.
When Tusshar spoke to reporters about the trailer, all he said was, “We have a bold trailer and we are going to deliver what we are promising. It’s going to be funny and audiences are going to laugh their heart out. When they go home, they will feel light and happy.”
I would not watch this film and can only imagine how uncomfortable people are going to feel in that audience.
